our Breeding Facilities

Designed with the safety and comfort of the mare, foal and stallion in mind. The main barn features large 12' x 18' stalls. It consists of a central palpation area with attached lab, which allows for minimal stress to either the mare or foal. There are several large turnout pastures for wet and dry mares.The stallion facilities consist of a separate stallion barn, for resident stallions, and collection room. Each resident stallion has his own private paddock.

Our state-of-the-art feeding program here at FireFox Farm is clearly one of a kind. We feed Cavalor products, Over the past 30+ years, Cavalor has built an international reputation as the world leader in equine nutrition for high performance horses. Today, Cavalor products are sold and used in over 55 countries by champion riders like Jos Lansink, Eric Lamaze, Anky Van Grunsven, Jan Ebeling, Kent Farrington, Beezie Madden and Steffen Peters. Cavalor products include a complete line of feed, supplement and care products. All are the result of years of intense research and development, thorough testing, selection of the highest quality ingredients, strict manufacturing and quality control processes. We use the Probreed, Juniorix and Strucomix Senior feed mostly on the farm. We also use the Direct Action Company, Inc. (a.k.a. dac® Vitamins and Minerals) they offer superior, innovative equine and livestock supplements. Dac® is a founding member of the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). The Bloom, Breeder’s Choice Plus, and Dac Oil are mainly used here on the farm. The hay we feed consists of an organic mixed grasses, orchard grass, alfalfa, clover and timothy. The nutrient management system uses natural manures and organically approved materials for fertilizer, and utilize natural forms of pest control. The hay is certified organic by a USDA approved agency.

Established with a reputation of uncompromising commitment to the Trakehner horse with care and strong relationships with their owners. Because we are a small operation, we produce two to three foals each year, therefore allows us the luxury of spending a lot of time and effort in raising high quality youngsters for all FEI disciplines.
